"Cry a Little Tear"
I have been involved as a volunteer & hanging out within the
Public Broadcasting sectors for over 40+ years. Hanging out means
listening, producing and presenting lots of new music.
BUT
just recently I have listened to the best album I've ever heard.
SOUNDS like a very big statement so I need to share my feelings
and thoughts with TASMEN.
The Sign )( "everybody's got some fear inside" is a good example
of how this music cuts to the bone big time. Tunes like
"Cry a Little Tear" will leave you in a space that can cause you to
explore just what makes YoU YOU!! "cause I don't understand" is a good feeling when things happen and a need is created
in ones self to reconnect to you.
)( SIGN music is a pleasant mixture of raw feelings put up
front, delivered with sincere voice/words, complemented with
very accomplished guitar work. If you like the full refreshing
sound of 12-string guitar and a wife/husband team
so much in love it blossoms into the )( music for your enjoyment.

Out of 10, )( music gets TEN plus, a must for your best friends

Well, Melbourne is happening as far as live music goes. Lots of good original music and heaps of
places to play. The Sign has been very busy playing all over and is starting to get a profile.
Just finished recording vocals for the new single "In Your World" and it sounds excellent!! Should
be posted on the web soon. Stay tuned!
)(2o Natural Spring Water is now cascading all over Melbourne and made it's debut in Londonderry, NSW at the
Londonderry Country, Blues and Folk Festival.
We have finally mastered three songs at Martin Street Studio with Chris Thompson for release in the new year.
They will be WHOLE LOTTA LOVE, ADDICTION and LOVE ME, with WHOLE LOTTA LOVE to be the single.
Still in an American trademark battle with Hurley International (NIKE) over our US application for our
Australian registered trademark )(. Hopefully that will end soon. Perhaps by the end of the year.
Imagine a surf gear company trying to stop a musical group from using it's already registered trademark.

*** HOLD THE PRESS!!! *** THE SIGN has made it through to the "Boot Camp" faze of THE X-FACTOR talent show!!
Mark Holden was very supportive and convinced the other judges (John Reid and Kate Cebrano)
what a hoot the show would be with THE SIGN on it! We'll keep you posted as to the outcome of the boot camp
after the new year.
We have just finished the vocals, guitar parts and pre mastering for SWEET CONCERN. This song will round out our EP ready for release soon. Watch this space for release date!
Radio barrage for Whole Lotta Love should commence soon. Keep and open ear on the radio!
Lost the battle with the US giants NIKE over our trademark because of a minor mistake by Pall. Should have registered the trademark based on our Australian trademark but didn't. Let that be a lesson to all you who want to register a trademark in a different country. USE A LAWYER in that country!! However, we did manage to get a trademark in Canada.
Moved back to Tasmania!! A nicer environment to be creative. The birth of a new kitchen....The birth of a grandchild....The birth of new songs......The birth of new ideas....Total rebirth!!
